Dune Crest at Dawn Over Sikkim Foothills

Soft gray light washes over a sharp, knife-edge dune ridge that cuts across the frame. Behind this foreground crest, layers of green foothills recede into the distance, their slopes textured with late spring vegetation. Raindrops streak the air, catching the diffused brightness of early dawn. The dune surface shows fine ripples carved by wind, against the softer, misty slopes below. Moisture darkens the sand slightly along the ridge's spine. Droplets hang suspended in the air between the dune and the distant hills, creating a veil of water that blurs the boundary between the sharp foreground and the hazy background. One drop slides down the wet sand near the crest.
