Rain falls in fine, silver threads across a concrete harbor quay near Durban. A diver emerges from the dark water, clad in a wet, dark wetsuit, holding a mesh net heavy with spiky purple and orange sea urchins. The figure stands on wet stone slabs that reflect the faint, yellowish glow of distant streetlights against the starless sky. Droplets rest on the diver's hood and the coarse texture of the net. In the immediate foreground, out-of-focus water droplets blur into soft, glowing orbs. The wet surface of the harbor mirrors the dim light, creating a slick, intimate space where the diver pauses, the weight of the catch pulling the net downward.
