The impossible element manifests as a corridor extending visibly farther than the building that contains it, its walls receding into the water where the diver swims. The structure's orange glow contrasts with the cool blue depth, while the wet surface of the quay reflects the heavy overcast. One ripple distorts the light on the water's edge.
