Dawn Snow in Kanto Pine Forest Shadow
Fresh white snow blankets the forest floor, burying pine needles and fallen twigs beneath a smooth, unbroken layer. Tall tree trunks rise in deep shadow, their bark dark and rough against the pale ground. A sharp rim of light catches the upper edges of the branches and the undersides of the snow-laden boughs, creating a thin, glowing outline. Above, fast-moving cloud bands streak across the grey sky, their undersides heavy and dramatic. The light is cool and dim, typical of nautical dawn in Kanto, casting long, soft shadows that stretch across the undulating terrain. The scene holds a quiet stillness, with the texture of the snow appearing soft and powdery where it rests on the forest floor. One branch tip, frosted and outlined in silver, hangs low against the dark backdrop of the tree trunk.
