Misty Cedar Forest Winter Sunrise Canada

Soft overcast light washes a steep mountain slope covered in ancient cedar trees. The sky above is a perfectly clear, pale blue, against the thick white mist clinging to the forest floor. Bare branches of the cedars stand dark against the pale haze, their bark textured and rugged. Snow blankets the ground in an uneven layer, broken only by the dark trunks rising from the white expanse. The air appears still, freezing the moment in a quiet winter state. Low sun rays filter faintly through the upper canopy, illuminating the mist without breaking the overcast mood. One branch in the foreground rests against the soft blur of the background trees.
