Cypress Trees Under Aqueduct Tower

Orange low-angle light washes the weathered concrete surface of a massive aqueduct siphon tower, highlighting the rough texture of the industrial structure against the dark, wet floodwater below. A row of tall, slender cypress trees stands in a dense line beneath the arch, their dark green foliage against the heavy, gray overcast clouds filling the sky. The wet season moisture coats the leaves and glistens on the concrete base where it meets the muddy levee path. The tower rises with imposing verticality, its rounded supports creating deep shadows that stretch across the water's surface. A reflection of the tower's edge ripples slightly in the stagnant, brown water at the bottom of the frame.
