Crumbling Concrete Bunker in Coastal Dunes

Hard late-afternoon sunlight strikes the jagged edge of a concrete bunker half-buried in shifting sand dunes. The structure stands roofless, exposing its hollow interior to the open sky. Sand has accumulated deep within the empty rooms, forming smooth mounds that reach halfway up the crumbling walls. Wind sweeps across the surface, visible only by the way fine grains of sand drift across the floor and settle against the rough concrete texture. The color palette consists of pale beige sand against the gray, weathered concrete. Shadows fall sharply across the interior floor, defining the depth of the hollow spaces. One crack runs vertically down the remaining wall section, filled with dry dust.
