Pale arcs of starlight curve across the deep indigo sky above a stone watchtower perched on an early spring alpine saddle. The tower stands in deep shadow, its rough masonry edges highlighted by a sharp rim light that separates it from the darkness. Below, the ground remains clearly readable despite the night, showing patches of dormant grass and scattered rocks. A faint, low-lying haze hangs on the distant horizon, softening the line where the earth meets the sky. Reflections in a small pool at the tower's base create a perfect mirrored composition, duplicating the stone structure and the swirling star trails in a silent, symmetrical dance against the cold, dark surroundings.
