Astronomer Secures Dome Chain on Windy Platform

Bright noon light flattens the shadows across a steel research platform in Mirpur, where a lone astronomer works against the rising wind. The figure wears a light summer shirt and leans forward, hands gripping a heavy metal chain that loops around the base of a white observatory dome. Grit and dust coat the grating beneath their boots, kicked up by the gusts that whip loose strands of hair across the forehead. The dome's smooth surface reflects the harsh sky, while the chain links gleam with a dull metallic sheen. Every movement is deliberate, muscles tense as the lock is secured. The horizon stretches flat and clear behind the structure, devoid of clouds despite the storm's approach. A final turn of the padlock snaps shut against the wind.
