Amber Tidal Bore Wave on Nanchang Shore

Rich amber light from the setting sun floods the wide river, illuminating a massive tidal bore wave pushing upstream against the current. The water rises in a frothy, white wall that dominates the foreground, crashing against a steep, wave-cut shoreline. Frost coats every visible surface, turning the dark mud and scattered rocks into a glittering, crystalline layer that contrasts sharply with the warm sky. The low angle emphasizes the sheer scale of the moving water as it advances. Late summer vegetation along the bank is heavy with ice, bending under the weight of the frost. The scene holds a heavy, weather-shaped stillness despite the water's motion. One droplet of frozen water hangs from a frosted reed stem at the water's edge.
