Rows of dark photovoltaic panels stretch beneath the massive concrete piers of a cable-stayed bridge on Laugavegur. Hard coastal glare reflects off the clean white snow that has slid from the bottom edges of every panel, leaving the glass surfaces bare and gleaming. The sky above is a piercing, cloudless blue that contrasts sharply with the industrial gray of the steel girders and the stark white ground. Low-angle perspective emphasizes the towering scale of the bridge structure looming over the energy infrastructure. Sharp shadows from the cables cut across the snow, while the metallic frames of the solar mounts catch the intense afternoon light, highlighting the texture of the frozen ground and the smooth, reflective surface of the glass.
