Wind Turbines Over Afghan Rooftops in Evening Mist

Honeyed evening light spills across rolling hills where white wind turbines stand in orderly rows. Below, a dense tapestry of terracotta and ochre rooftops stretches into the distance, their geometric patterns softened by thick, low-hanging mist. The diagonal arrangement of the turbines creates a sharp visual tension against the organic curves of the landscape. Early summer greenery peeks through the fog near the base of the towers. The firelight warmth of the sun casts long, soft shadows that stretch across the dusty ground. In the foreground, the rough texture of a rooftop edge contrasts with the smooth, slender blades of the nearest turbine. The mist rests on the lower valley, obscuring the boundary between the built environment and the natural hills.
