Warped Basketball Court at Harbor Quay

Dappled sunlight falls through overhanging tree branches, illuminating a weathered basketball court positioned directly on a harbor quay. The wooden floorboards are severely warped and buckled, creating uneven ridges that disrupt the painted white boundary lines. Heavy monsoon rains have left the surface slick and dark, while a fine mist of sea spray drifts across the court from the adjacent water, settling on the peeling red paint. The perspective looks from behind the court toward the water, where the warped wood meets the damp concrete edge of the dock. Puddles reflect the gray sky, and the texture of the splintered timber contrasts sharply with the smooth, wet surface of the harbor water beyond the rim.
