Skateboarder Mid-Trick at Multan Harbor Twilight
by Zoey Conrad
Pale winter light reflects off the calm harbor water, illuminating a skateboarder suspended in mid-air above the quay. The figure wears a heavy dark jacket and loose trousers, against the warm glow bouncing from the river surface. Fine dust particles rise from the ground around the wheels, caught in the low angle of the twilight sun despite the cold season. The concrete edge of the harbor forms a sharp horizontal line beneath the airborne board. Behind the skater, the dark silhouettes of moored boats and distant brick structures fade into the deepening blue of the evening sky. The skater's gaze is fixed downward, eyes locked on the landing spot with intense focus. A thin shadow stretches across the wet pavement, mirroring the arc of the jump. The texture of the rough concrete is visible where the board's tail contacts the air, while the water ripples gently in the background.
