Upward Rain and Lava Cave at Golden Hour
Crisp silver streaks of rain ascend vertically against the deep orange glow of a setting sun, defying gravity across a wide valley floor near Vancouver. A massive lava tube cave anchors the left third, its rough basalt walls softened by thick, emerald ferns draping the entrance. Low-hanging clouds drift horizontally, their undersides illuminated by the firelight warmth that spills from the cave mouth, creating a sharp contrast with the cool, rising water. The valley stretches into the distance, filled with the mist of turning seasons, where the upward rain catches the light like suspended needles. At the cave's base, a small pool reflects the inverted rain, mirroring the impossible streaks as they vanish into the dark stone. The wind-carved solitude of the rock face remains visible beneath the surreal downpour.
