Umbrella Canopies Beneath Glass Roof Konya

Honeyed evening light falls through the translucent fabric of open umbrellas arranged beneath a grid of glass panes. Warm candlelight glows from within the canopy, illuminating heavy folds of crimson, indigo, and mustard hues against the cool stone walls of the Konya arcade. Early winter is visible in the thick texture of the fabric and the angle of the light. Diagonal lines of metal ribs create graphic tension, intersecting with the geometric framework of the roof above. Quiet shadows pool in the corners where the metal ribs meet the stone floor, showing the structural depth of the space. One silver grommet catches the glow at the apex of a crimson canopy.
