Umbrella Canopies Seen From Below in Turin Skylight

Pale stone walls of a Turin passageway reflect the soft glow of late afternoon sun filtering through a high skylight. Below, a dense cluster of umbrella canopies fills the view, their fabric surfaces displaying muted tones of cream, slate, and dusty rose. Indirect light bounces off the surrounding architecture, softening the shadows between the curved ribs of the umbrellas. The floor beneath acts as a mirror, capturing elongated, distorted reflections of the colorful shapes above. Late summer heat is absent from the visual texture, replaced by the cool, dry feel of aged masonry and taut fabric. Geometric patterns emerge where the circular canopies overlap, creating a rhythmic mosaic against the neutral background. at the edge is the sharp edge of a wooden handle resting against the cool stone floor.
