Sichuan Taxi Rank Twilight Station Rain

Wet asphalt stretches from the foreground toward a distant vanishing point where yellow taxis line up in a neat row outside a train station in Sichuan. Puddles on the ground mirror the deep indigo sky and the soft glow of orange streetlamps, creating fragmented reflections that ripple slightly in the damp air. Red taillights of a waiting vehicle cast long, streaked crimson paths across the slick surface. Overhead, gray clouds are breaking to reveal hints of fading violet light, signaling the end of a late spring storm. Concrete pillars support the station roof, their dark forms framing the converging lines of the queue. One puddle near the bottom edge shows a sharp, inverted image of a taxi sign, at the base of the scene in its quiet, post-rain stillness.
