Golden light spills across a vast grid of flooded rice paddies, turning the water into a mirror for the streaked orange and violet clouds above. The fields stretch outward in geometric precision, broken only by the dark, silhouetted forms of orchard ladders and stacked crates standing near the edge of the frame. Fine particles of chaff and dust drift through the backlit air, catching the fading sun in a hazy, shimmering suspension. Cool season air hangs heavy, yet the water remains still, reflecting the sky with glassy clarity. Along the furthest ridges, the water ripples slightly, distorting the cloud shapes into soft, elongated brushstrokes against the deepening blue of the horizon.
