Sun Dog Over Volcanic Coast Peru Blue Hour

A pale, circular sun dog floats above a jagged volcanic coastline where dark basalt cliffs meet the churning sea. The sky transitions from deep indigo to soft violet as midsummer twilight settles. Distant town lights glow in a warm, horizontal band along the horizon, against the cool air. Dramatic clouds streak across the upper atmosphere, their edges illuminated by the fading sun. The volcanic rock forms a sharp, black silhouette against the brightening atmospheric halo. Below, the ocean surface reflects the dimming sky with a glassy sheen. A faint, circular halo of ice crystals encircles the sun dog, creating a precise geometric ring against the organic shapes of the clouds and cliffs.
