Late afternoon sun glints off the surface of a nearby body of water, casting a bright, shimmering glare directly into the lenses of a storm chaser's glasses. The subject stands framed by ample negative space, their face partially obscured by the distorted reflections of the water and sky. Fine sea spray hangs in the air, catching the light as tiny, suspended droplets around the figure's shoulders. Peak autumn colors of muted ochre and deep green line the distant shore behind the chaser. The individual wears a practical, wind-resistant jacket in earthy tones, suitable for the damp, coastal environment near Chongqing. The light creates a sharp contrast between the dark silhouette of the face and the brilliant white highlights on the eyewear. One droplet of moisture rests on the rim of the glasses.
