Soft overcast light washes the windswept rooftop near Jagalchi Market in Busan, casting even tones across a harbor pilot's weathered face. Early winter air leaves the subject's collar damp with salt spray, clinging to the rough fabric of a heavy coat. Dramatic gray clouds fill the upper frame, against the pilot's steady, dark gaze fixed forward. The composition places the figure at the right edge of the rule of thirds, allowing the vast, turbulent sky to dominate the left side. Fine droplets glisten on the collar against the muted blue-gray of the wool. One droplet slides slowly down the fabric edge, marking the boundary between the subject and the open sea.
