Mist rests on the harbor wall, softening the gray stone against the pale early spring sky. A weathered face emerges from the diffused light, skin textured by years of sun and salt air. The subject stands at eye level, eyes fixed with attentive stillness on the water beyond. Faint clouds scatter the blinding white sun, casting a gentle glow that highlights the deep lines around the mouth and eyes. The figure wears a simple, dark garment that contrasts with the pale mist. Behind, the harbor wall stretches horizontally, its surface rough and damp. The water remains glassy, reflecting the soft dawn hues. A small ripple breaks the surface near the stone edge.
