Steaming Fumaroles on Swiss Volcanic Plateau

Steel-blue evening light washes over a rugged volcanic plateau where white steam rises in twisting columns from scattered fumaroles. The ground is dark and porous, against the vibrant green grass of the floodplain stretching toward the horizon. Wind whips the steam into horizontal ribbons that blur against the dark rock. Layers of mist and shadow recede into the distance, creating a deep sense of space. Puddles on the wet earth reflect the fading sky, while the steam adds a soft, moving texture to the still landscape. A thin veil of moisture rests on the foreground stones.
