Silhouetted Fumarole Vent Sulfur Deposits Floodplain

Golden hour light bleeds across a wet floodplain near Monterrey, illuminating a rising column of steam from a fumarole vent. The vent stands in sharp silhouette against the bright sky, its rough, mineral-crusted edges defined by the backlight. Bright sulfur-yellow deposits stain the dark rock surrounding the opening, against the muted grays of the wet earth. A thin layer of fog drifts over the waterlogged ground, softening the distant horizon where late autumn grasses bow under the dampness. The steam rises steadily, dissolving into the hazy air before vanishing against the fading sun. Sharp mineral textures on the vent rim catch the final rays of light, highlighting the jagged, crystalline formations of the sulfur crust.
