Steam Locomotive Through Foggy Patagonian Valley

Rust-colored steel rails cut through a valley shrouded in thick, low-hanging clouds near a Patagonian harbor mouth. A vintage steam locomotive pulls a line of passenger cars, their dark metal sides catching the faint, pale glow of nautical dawn. Deep shadows swallow the lower chassis and wheels, while a sharp rim of light traces the curved smokestack and the tops of the carriages. Bare, twisted shrubs in burnt orange and brown rest on the muddy banks, signaling peak autumn. The sky is a uniform sheet of gray, merging with the mist that obscures the water's edge. The train moves slowly, its heavy form against the soft, swirling vapor that rests on the ground. One plume of white steam drifts upward, dissolving instantly into the overcast sky.
