Steel-blue ambient light washes over the deck of a ferry crossing a remote Patagonian waterway. A vintage bus, its paint worn to a matte grey, sits parked alongside rugged stone walls and metal railings. Early spring air whips loose papers and loose fabric against the vehicle's side. The wind tangles the hair of passengers standing near the open edge, their coats pulled tight against the chill. Dark water churns beneath the hull, reflecting the fading sky. The bus's chrome bumper catches a final glint of the dying sun, while the ferry's deck planks show wet patches from the spray.
