Steam Train on Lava Causeway Under Clouds

Soft, diffused light washes the black lava field where a vintage steam train moves across a wind-swept causeway in Tyrol. The locomotive, dark against the rough, jagged rock, releases a plume of white vapor that hangs low in the air. Stacked gray clouds press down from a noon sky, casting long, stark shadows that stretch across the uneven terrain. Early autumn leaves in muted browns and golds dot the edges of the track, against the volcanic stone. The metal rails gleam faintly under the wet ground, reflecting the heavy, low-hanging sky. One rail joint glints in the damp light.
