Sleet Coated Power Line at Golden Hour
Rich amber light from the setting sun backlights a single power line strung beneath fast-moving cloud bands. The wire is heavily encrusted with thick, jagged ice formed from a recent sleet storm, creating a rough, translucent texture that catches the glow. Early spring thaw conditions hang in the air as a thick, low-hanging mist softens the distant treeline of Rovaniemi. The ice glows with a warm, orange hue where the light strikes it directly, while the shadowed sides remain a deep, cool grey. Below, the ground disappears into the white fog, leaving the frozen wire as the only sharp, defined element against the soft, moving sky. The heavy accumulation pulls the line into a distinct downward curve.
