Silhouetted Whirlpool in Pennsylvania Twilight

Cool blue light washes over a narrow river strait cutting through a rain-soaked floodplain in late spring Pennsylvania. The water churns violently, twisting into a dark, circular whirlpool that stands stark against the fading indigo sky. Heat haze shimmers above the turbulent surface, distorting the horizon line where the river meets the distant treeline. Dark silhouettes of riverbank vegetation frame the churning water, their edges softening in the twilight glow. The riverbank mud glistens with recent rainfall, reflecting the deep blue tones of the evening. One ripple breaks the surface tension near the center, catching the last ambient light before disappearing into the deep shadow of the vortex. The water's movement creates a visible texture of froth and foam swirling in tight spirals.
