Silhouetted Bamboo Raft on Cartagena Causeway
Honeyed evening light washes over the wind-open causeway near Bocagrande, Cartagena, casting the raft of bamboo logs into deep silhouette against the bright horizon. The bundled poles stand rigid and vertical, their rough, fibrous textures outlined by the fading sun. A low, distant haze settles along the waterline, softening the separation between the river and the sky. Shot from a low angle, the logs appear towering and imposing, dominating the foreground while the calm water reflects the warm amber glow.
