Thick black ink curves across white paper inside an open portable case resting on a wooden table. The paper unspools from the mechanism, curling slightly at the edge where the pen tip once traced the ground's movement. Tropical bright light falls through the gym's high windows, illuminating dust motes dancing above the ink. The background blurs into soft greens and browns of the school gym's interior, hinting at wooden beams and distant windows. Heavy overcast skies outside diffuse the light, creating a soft, even glow that highlights the texture of the paper and the glossy sheen of the ink. The trace ends in a jagged line, suggesting recent activity. A small shadow falls across the paper's edge, marking the depth of the case.
