Sagging Chairlift Cables at Sunset in Banff

Late spring light washes over the abandoned ski lodge, casting long shadows across the snow-dusted alpine piste. Rusty chairlift cables droop heavily, touching the damp ground where stone masonry meets melting ice. The frame-within-a-frame structure of a broken window reveals the sagging lines against the horizon. Golden hues wrap the scene, highlighting peeling paint and weathered timber. Damp air settles among the stones, visible as a faint haze clinging to the lower walls. Snow patches linger in the shadows, against the warm sunset glow. A cracked stone step near the foreground anchors the composition.
