Shattered Ribs of Decaying Orangery in Winter

Pale winter light falls through a broken stone archway near Sangli, illuminating the skeletal remains of a once-grand orangery. The structure stands as a collection of shattered ribs, their curved forms jutting out like broken bones against a gray sky. Soft overcast light diffuses across the scene, softening the edges of crumbling masonry. Dry season dust coats the fallen debris, while a light drizzle beads on the rough, weathered surfaces of the stone. The wide panoramic view shows the quiet desolation of the ruin, where the texture of decay meets the starkness of the season. Moss rests on the damp lower stones, against the pale, dry earth scattered around the base. A final drop of water slides down a jagged fragment of brick.
