Rusted Bolt Rim on Moss in São Paulo

Flat noon light falls through sheer curtains, washing the subject in a pale, even glow that highlights the rough texture of corroded iron. One bolt rim rests directly on a patch of dew-soaked moss, its green surface glistening with tiny, suspended water droplets. The rust presents as a flaky, orange-brown crust peeling away from the metal's edge, revealing darker pits beneath. Shallow depth of field blurs the surrounding moss into soft, indistinct shapes of emerald and gray, isolating the sharp, pitted details of the fastener. Lamplight settles in the corners of the room, casting faint, warm shadows against the cool, flat daylight. at the edge is a single droplet clinging to the jagged lip of the rusted metal.
