Rusted Portcullis in Ar Ramtha Concrete Lobby
Pale silver dawn light falls through the ribbed concrete ceiling of the Ar Ramtha lobby, illuminating dust motes suspended in humid air. A medieval-style portcullis stands permanently half-open within the industrial space, its iron bars heavy with orange rust that contrasts against the cool gray of the surrounding walls. Water droplets rest on the lower rungs of the gate, glistening where they meet the damp floor. The ribbed concrete arches create strong leading lines that draw toward the rusted metal structure. Early autumn leaves scatter across the wet concrete near the base, their brown edges soft against the hard surfaces. at the edge is a single streak of rust running down the innermost bar, catching the faint morning glow.
