Hose Nozzle in São Paulo

A heavy rubber hose nozzle rests on a wet concrete ledge in a São Paulo service yard during the blue hour. Dark green water stains creep into the porous cement around the base of the metal fitting, highlighting the texture of the aged surface. Above the nozzle, a rusted metal peg rail holds a few faded plastic clips against a backdrop of shadowed brick walls. The dim ambient light reflects off the damp ground, showing the rough grain of the concrete and the smooth curves of the brass connector.
