Rows of Sand Molds in Foundry Pit

Deep shadow swallows the lower half of the foundry pit while a sharp rim of evening light traces the curved edges of sand molds arranged in precise, parallel rows. The coarse, gray texture of the silica sand contrasts with the smooth, dark metal surfaces of the molds resting within. Early autumn clarity fills the air, allowing the faint dust particles to settle on the uneven factory floor near Fuzhou. Low-angle perspective emphasizes the towering scale of the casting forms against the dim industrial ceiling. A faint reflection of the rim light glints off a wet patch on the concrete beside the nearest mold row.
