Evening Light on Smelter Cells in Hanoi Hall

Cool blue evening light washes over rows of electrolytic cells inside a long industrial hall near Ba Dinh. Reflected light from a nearby water source glides across the metallic surfaces, casting shimmering highlights on the aluminum structures. Heavy machinery lines the concrete floor, stretching deep into the space under exposed beams. Rust marks the lower sections of the equipment, against the bright upper surfaces. Utilitarian walkways run parallel to the production line, resting on steel supports. One long shadow falls across the ground, defining the scale of the massive cells against the cool seasonal air. The clear sky outside falls through high windows, illuminating the dust motes settling on the metal grates.
