Brickyard Kiln Yard Under Overcast Sky

Rows of unbaked bricks stretch across the dusty ground beside a massive blast furnace near Bolu. The dry season leaves the earth pale and cracked, while the overcast sky diffuses the early afternoon light into a soft, uniform gray. Metallic haze hangs low above the kiln yard, blurring the edges of the brick stacks and the industrial structures behind them. The heavy steel framework of the furnace dominates the right side, its dark surface against the lighter clay tones.
