Rime-Covered Mast at Nepal Lock in Golden Mist

Warm golden light spills across a canal lock chamber in Nepal, illuminating a towering telecommunication mast that rises sharply from the stone ridge. Thick mist rests on the water's surface and wraps around the structure, while every single guy wire is coated in a heavy, crystalline rime that glows against the fading sun. Peak autumn colors appear in the distant foliage, with orange and brown leaves scattered along the lock walls. Several water droplets and small stones hang frozen in midair just above the lock gates, suspended perfectly still as if time has halted. The stone masonry shows rough textures and deep shadows cast by the low sun, creating a stark, civic-scale austerity. A final reflection of the rime-coated wire shimmers on the still surface of the water below the suspended droplets.
