Winter Sunset Rime on Swayambhu Telecom Mast

Rich amber sunlight floods the lower section of a steel telecommunication mast anchored on a ridge in Swayambhu, Kathmandu. Every guy wire is encrusted with thick, white rime ice that catches the low winter sun, creating jagged crystalline edges against the deepening blue sky. The structure stands in perfect symmetrical alignment, its legs rooted in dry, dormant earth typical of the dead of winter. Shadows stretch long and sharp across the ground, showing the industrial geometry of the tower. Behind the mast, the faint silhouette of ancient stupas blends into the horizon under a perfectly clear sky. The contrast between the frozen metal wires and the warm, glowing light highlights the texture of the ice clinging to the steel cables.
