A weathered scarecrow stands as a dark silhouette against the fading blue light of evening at the edge of a Kuala Lumpur tea plantation. Tea-colored water fills the foreground, mirroring the figure's straw hat and bundled rags with a slightly distorted, rippled texture. Thin fog hangs low over the damp ground, softening the distant outlines of the plantation rows. The dry season leaves the soil near the water's edge cracked and pale, against the deep, shadowed form of the agricultural figure. The water's surface reflects the silhouette's jagged edges while the surrounding mist blurs the background foliage into soft gray shapes. A small cluster of dried stalks lies half-submerged near the scarecrow's feet.
