Deep indigo shadows swallow the foreground while a sharp rim of blue twilight light traces the crisp edges of pleated dresses standing beside a large mirror. The fabric, still heavy from recent rain, rests on the hangers with visible water droplets catching the dim glow. Bulbs lining the mirror frame cast a cool, clinical brightness that contrasts with the surrounding darkness. Layered behind the garments, sheer curtains hang motionless, and metal racks fade into the gloom. The dry season air leaves the air dry despite the wet clothes, showing the texture of the damp silk against the hard glass. One droplet slides down the mirror surface, distorting the reflection of the pleats.
