Indigo twilight washes over wet asphalt in Bandar Lampung, where three pleated dresses rest directly on the slick pavement. Deep violet and charcoal fabrics absorb the dim ambient light, their sharp pleats holding pools of rainwater that mirror the surrounding street glow. The material appears heavy and saturated, with a glossy sheen clinging to the folds. Puddles reflect the darkened sky above, blending fabric and ground into a seamless surface. Small ripples disturb the water trapped in the deep creases of the skirts. One drop slides slowly down the hem of the leftmost dress, leaving a darker, wetter trail against the dry fabric edge.
