Hailstorm Reflection on Water Floor

Soft overcast light floods the interior of a Johor Bahru couture atelier, illuminating dust motes suspended in shafts of brightness. A metal garment rack holds crisp white shirting shirts, their collars starched and sharp against the gloom. Behind the clothes, a large window frames a chaotic wall of white hailstones, their shapes frozen in the gray monsoon sky. The floor beneath the rack has transformed into mirror-still open water, reflecting the hanging garments and the storm outside with perfect clarity. The reflection inverts the scene, showing the bottom of the shirts and the hail from below. one drop of water from the ceiling rests on the hem of the nearest shirt, its surface tension holding the reflection of the storm inside the droplet.
