Cedar Forest Misty Mountain Slope Evening Blue

Deep blue twilight washes the wide valley floor near Chinatown in Vancouver, leaving the cedar forest in heavy shadow. Thin, low-hanging clouds drift across the mountain slope, catching a faint rim of cool light along the treeline. The trees stand tall and dark against the pale sky, their rough bark textures barely visible in the dimness. Layers of depth recede from the foreground into the distance, where the mountain ridges fade into the mist. The ground is covered in early spring greenery, soft and damp under the fading light. One branch extends into the frame, its edge glowing faintly against the dark backdrop.
