Lightning Fork Over Mississippi Storm Plain Blue Hour

A jagged fork of white lightning splits the indigo sky above a flat Mississippi plain during late autumn twilight. Reflected light from a nearby sheet of water illuminates the storm-bright horizon, casting a cool, metallic sheen across the landscape. Three weathered wooden telegraph poles stand in a receding line, their crossbars silhouetted against the glowing clouds. A brief sun shower creates a shimmering curtain of rain that catches the electrical discharge, turning droplets into suspended sparks. The horizon line remains perfectly straight, showing the vast, open geography of the region. at the edge shows the electric blue arc terminating just above the wet, dark grass.
