Autumn Rainbow Over Ontario Storm Lake

Vivid bands of spectral light arc sharply between two towering columns of gray thunderheads hovering over a calm Ontario lake. The water reflects the dark, heavy clouds and the bright rainbow in a distorted mirror. Peak autumn colors emerge in the distant treeline, where maples burn orange and red against the stormy backdrop.
