Hard coastal glare strikes the surface of a jade-green cenote, creating sharp, bright reflections that cut through the mist of sea spray lingering in the air. Thick, dark vines drape heavily from the surrounding limestone rim, their wet textures glistening against the pale stone. The water remains still and deep, absorbing the late autumn light while the low angle of the shot emphasizes the towering height of the overhanging vegetation. A narrow strip of muddy floodplain stretches across the background, showing the recent receding of rainwater under the intense midday sun. at the edge is a single droplet sliding slowly down the rough edge of a hanging root tip.
